Part 2 of 3

I took the boys to a near by tier park which is basically a zoo it was amazing for us to have some time together and Andy to have a break to himself. We fed the ducks (and monkeys) pet the goats, smelt the pigs and played in the park, was a fantastic day!

Apart from that we have started once again to see and do as much as possible well in Germany! First stop was Osnabruck, which as always was fantastic. We drove around looking at our old houses (all 3 of them) then ventured onto camp which is so dead now, I cannot believe on August 4th it should be closed!

Next trip was Belfield Now you all may remember hearing about the place as we use to have friends living there. Well we have decided as the city is so close to really get to enjoy and explore it (have only really seen bars there lol). Well ikea was first on agenda followed by a day at the tier park which is bigger then Herford’s. We were lucky enough to go on a carnival day so got full on cotton candy and even went on some rides!!! We also had a day at the Sparrenburg castle, unfortunately during the war the castle fell victim to an air raid and only the tower survived. We took a trip up the tower where we got the most beautiful view of all of Belifield, and then we walked around the castle grounds enjoying some of the history in which the castle is filled. I also had my first ultrasound in Germany here and though I want to wait to find out the sex of the baby Andy couldn’t so the nurse took a look and what she told us is we are having a baby!!!! The baby’s legs were crossed and so I get my way and bubba bean is still a secret.

Back now to Herford to see what it has to offer, so far we already know it has an amazing town centre, my favourite shop (H&M) a fantastic free outdoor pirate ship/ water playground, a good Tier park, so we decided it was time to try out the swim baths… Well no shock there once again we were amazed!!! There is a massive outdoor pool which had areas for kids and adults, and inside has a rainforest theme and ships with shooting cannons water shoots out. The water is warm but not to warm which is fantastic in +34 weather!

So now that Andy has started work again (after a month break) we have been told it will only be for a week! His first week went VERY well, he likes his place of work though has to admit it’s very slow paced. He has just been promoted so am very proud of him, though the day he brought home the good news I was stricken with some bad….

Unfortunately my dad has been diagnosed with skin cancer, so celebrations have been put on hold for a bit. I cannot get over how hard this year has been what with Andy’s mom getting breast cancer, his step dad having major heart surgery, our fight with deportation moving; Andy’s class one, and now this. I have to keep reminding myself to keep my chin up and stay positive though it seems to be getting harder.

So on Positive notes Andy’s mom won her fight with breast cancer, His Step dad is slowly but steadily getting better, We won our fight with immigration, Andy not only passed his class one but also his P.O.B. in which he passed with flying colours, our move went well, and I am now expecting my third which is a little wiggler! I am very positive like everything else my dad will see victory at the end of the battle and we are all routing for him!

So that's it for now tomorrow in part 3 will update you on this past week!!!

My gosh, sounds like you all have been busy busy busy. Sorry about your pop... thats horrible and I have him in my prayers. When you talk to him, tell him I am thinking of him.

Not fun at all.

Either way, sounds like the boys are being well traveled and Andy is enjoying his job which is great. Can't wait to see yea'll in person as I am trying my hardest to save. I am truly thinking of moving out of the parents house and being on my own now. I am to a point where I need my independance.

Love you all and I hope to get my own update on my blogspot.

Later!

sorry sammy! I misunderstood your dad on sunday! He has had the tests, and now is time for action! I have had too many folks around me that have had cancer not to take it seriously, so I really understand your concerns!I deal in them now too! Hope that the operation will give a positive answer to further questions! Our prayers will be with you and your whole family in this stressful time. xx Aunt Jeanette
