Night fell and our good friends Terry and Dee whom I have kinda grown old with (have known since I was 18) came down for a celebration kind of goodbye for us all. We all dressed up and headed to our work bar for some drinks and as a meting point for all. After we all met up and enjoyed some drinks we headed into town where not only was everyone celebrating Germanys victory into 3rd in world cup but also enjoying a festival called Hoker fest (social festival). There was live bands spotted around everywhere and drink and food stalls too. We enjoyed food drink and ALOT of singing and dancing. Got alot of attention for our costumes as well which was fun. was so great to have one last ngiht out with friends I am going to miss them so much, actually have enjoyed my time in Herford and well thinking of it Osnabruck was amazing too I LOVE GERMANY!
however saying this I must add I am so excited for the adventure ahead, to see my mom after 7 years my sister, her boyfriend and my nephew after 3 and all my friends. I cannot wait to enjoy the things Canada has to offer that I never took advantage of (husky rides, mountian climbing, skiing etc. and I definatly cannot wait to join the hockey team! (I have never played hockey before). I look forward to learning to drive, getting a job and doing schooling and just becoming ME again not just Momma Sam.
