a Boys weekend

Well this weekend was all about my boys! Friday Andy got the snip as I told you int he last blog so on top of being under the weather he was in PAIN, the poor sod has high tolorance to local anistetic and felt the whole procedure OUCH. Anyways he came home and was sent straight to bed and the boys and I baked brownies and played games until finally everyone was tucked up nice and cozie for a long sleep. I then slipped away for my last ngiht of skate school which was AMAZING skating backwards most practice was my highlight, I was told by many I will be playing defnece (apparently this is the best position to have for stronger players so WAHOO). Anyhow after skate school we all headed to the local bar for some drinks then a few to my friend Tara's for some more wine and chit chat.

Saturday came with a banging headache and a toy truck to the face (thanks for the wake up call Mason). I was in a suprisingly great mood though! Andy took us all to town to get some winter gear and bless him he was hanging out so I did feel very guilty but in fairness we need winter coats and food for the week so was a good thing in the end. We got home and again it was straight to bed for Drew leaving me with 3 wired little men! I bought them all a sticker book so we spent about an hour arranging and rearranging how the stickers should be placed in the book then played until Mason went to bed. From that point on we all settled down with popcorn and some movies cuddled under our favorite blankets. Both boys must been wiped as 15 minutes intot he move they were gone.

Sunday came with cold weather and a again sick Drew so the boys and I played quietly in the cellar well Andy caught up on some much needed sleep (yes even though it's all he has done all week lol). The boys were a bit stir crazy so after putting Mason for a nap and Caleb happily playing cbeebies online in my bedroom Ethan and I headed out for a quiet fall walk, Boy it was quiet we walked though all of Ralston and never seen a soul! We ended up at the old batting cage where I managed to take some pictures as Ethan ran leaped balanced and climbed around everything in site. I loved this walk but it was an eye opener to how much my onece little boy is no longer little. We talked about school, we talked about books and Christmas (he wants ALOT) we talked about motorcycles (one of the things he wants for christmas) and we talked about..................... GIRLS my 5 year old is talking about girls Im doomed! Anyways after steering him clear of them (as you do hahaha) we walked home to some hot chocolate and more movies before getting set for a good long sleep before mondays school day!
