Were moving

The minute you are handed a posting order in the army world you instantly feel the rollercoaster of emotion's. You are about to embark on a new journey, see a new way of life, go to another new country (or part of it) and meet new people and cultures. I LOVE the moving part personally. Yes I have made friends I love and will miss dearly, shared moments and made memories but now it's time to jump to the next moment. Being a British army wife our posting's are normally 3 years, mind saying that I have had Osnabruck (Germany) for 3 years in 3 differant area's, Bordon (UK) for 9 months, Herford (Germany) for 2 years and now I sit on my last few days of my 2 years in Batus (Canada). I usually get itchy feet when handed our lovely posting order (usually given if LUCKY a month in advance). But this posting order came really early (June of last year we got it). So My feet are basicly scratched off I WANT TO GO NOW!!!!!

Now Canada has been such an amazing posting, We enjoyed going to California and seeing sea world, Universal Studios, spending the day at the beaches and coves, walk Hollywood bolivard, have a Jack in the box in a rough spot in L.A., enjoy San Diego zoo and so much more. I got to jet off with the girls to Vegas, take a helicopter ride over Grand Canyon. Bring the kids to Uk to visit family, go Whale watching in Vancouver, go camping in Spokane, Looked for the troll of Sandigo and non-stop adventures around Canada.

Drew and I got to take advantage of a weekend away in Jasper, sipping wine in a hot tub well the snow peacfully drifted down on us, ice walking in a caynon, looking at frozen waterfalls.
We both played hockey and were actually quiet good at it. I experienced tubing, White water rafting, dog sledding and so much more.

We have met wildlife and watched it in our own garden, fed deer from our front door, took our hand in nursing a baby bunny to health watched the trees change, the prarie go from the hottest hot to the coldest cold.

I have learnt photography and given it an honest go....

So yes I have learnt alot, seen alot and done alot in the last 2 years, I still have 6 weeks which I must admit is LOADED with many more things to do and adventures to come so I won't say my adventure is done, but sadly it is coming to an end.

Excited to share my next journey in UK with you all, as I learn to drive, get a job away from home and explore new land. I will continue to post the best I can until my internet is turned off and update you all in July when we are all settled into our new home.
