A weekend of fun and week of enjoyment.

This weekend we had our friend Myghal up from Cornwall, as well as our step sister Nina. We went to a lovely restaurant Vallum Farm which is an amazing place to eat. I had Duck Pate for starter, Grouse which was cooked to perfection, and dessert was Sticky toffee pudding all of which was just perfection! Everything is made from scratch at the time of order and you can really notice.

Saturday we all went surfing in Tynemouth, It was so amazing seeing the kids getting proper into it and just the smiles and pure joy on everyone's face. drew and I have decided to take this up as a hobby and put the boys into surfing this summer so am rather excited about that.

Sunday was mothers day here in England. I awoke to my beautiful boys who showered me with cards and gifts and breakfast in bed. It was a perfect morning, we said goodbye to Myghal and Nina and met up with the family (Jean, Chas and Steph) for our mothers day gift to them, an all you can eat.... Was really nice to have us all together specially as though I go to lunch weekly with them Andrew doesn't really get the chance with work.

School pack up's  have been going well, I've not taken pictures of the last few but today the boys had mini marshmallows, Pretzels and homemade pizza buns in the bottom. Then Strawberries and Kiwi in one tub and Cucumber and carrot sticks in another. Yup the boys are excited for lunch time so WAHOO!!!!

Yesterday was the spring Disco at school. Ethan is eight and a half and is growing out of these things so didn't want to go, the other two decided we should all sty home and bake!

First we made dinner which was Chicken Jambalaya

Next we focused on making tomorrows Pizza buns. Mason and I made the Base.
Ethan rolled it all out
Caleb *ate* I mean added the toppings....
As so their school dinners were made by THEM!!!!!
