Anyways this week has been mostly quiet but A LOT has happened. Rita and Cheaster have been coming around every few days which has been great for all the kids and good for the gossip for us older ones lol.
Saturday was amazing weather so again we took a trip to Beilfeld for a walk around there botanical gardens. It was such a warm day and the gardens were beautiful. The main focus point had to be the frog pond (though no frogs were found), I feel I got a few great shots of the lily pads (what you think???) That night Andy had a welcoming party set up by the boys at his camp, which was great for him apart from getting a little to drunk! I spent the night watching tons of films (rented 6) Must say Mandy moore has made a new film (Because I said so) it’s so sweet almost as good as p.s. I love you lol. Well 3am came and Andy wasn’t home so I looked out the window and was terrified at what I saw, there was a group of about 20 teens outside (walking past ours) with bats, chains and some knifes!!!! I was so worried about Andy at that point as he said he would be in at 3! Well 3:30 comes and I’ve been trying to ring him the whole time, when a taxi pulls up with him inside, relieved I open the door to see about 10 of those teens from earlier walking back Aghhhh bad timing for us! I thought they would hurt Andy as Germans seem not to like the Brits and Andy being so drunk was such an easy target, but they just walked straight past PHEW.

Anyways Sunday Andy was suffering from a bad hang over in which I will fully admit no mercy was given. I took the kids out for the day to play in the park and then out for lunch.
Monday was a busy and good one, I went onto camp to check my eBay and return library books. I met up with Andy and we had breakfast (fruit and milk Mmm…) we then went to the doctor to wait well Andy went to see him; he came out to tell me he is now going to be alcohol free! He spoke to the doctor about his drinking and has decided on his own he no longer wants to drink so the Doctor is going to help him!!!! I’m so proud of Andy for making such a hard and difficult choice and 100% behind him. (I’d say I was off alcohol too but that’s obvious as I’m pregnant lol.) Well after that I headed to Ethan’s new school to register him and they told me he will start Thursday in FS1 (what in Canada is preschool). I’m so excited my little bubba is growing up! So decided to go and get Ethan some new clothes and spent a fortune (oops), who knew kid’s clothes were so pricey now!

Tuesday was a quieter one, I spent the day cleaning and organizing! I made some posters with baby toys for sale (fingers crossed they sell), Sorted more baby clothes to put onto E-bay (did I mention I have made £165.50 since last week!). So basically am empting the baby’s room of the stuff we no longer want to make room for all new amazing stuff that I cannot wait to buy heehee. Anyhow went tog o see Rita and arranged to child mind Cheaster for a bit for her (am dead excited). So slowly everything is coming along and I’m making some pennies. Andy came home from work with some news, you remember his exercise I was talking about in my rant (the one that was for 2 weeks, 3 weeks, or 4 days). Well turns out he leaves on Saturday now and comes home for Monday!!! So that’s a plus! Now the negative, you also may remember me talking about the fact that his promotion has made him not have a spot here… Well they now are really thinking of moving us and soon!!! Andy has been told there is 2 ways this can go
1. He will go back to being a Lance corporal until September (next year) and then becoming a Corporal again, they would back pay him all his money as well. I am hoping they do this as I’m not a rank wife and right now money wise we are doing more then ok so it would be a free savings account!
2. He will get posted to one of the three pref postings he has put down for anywhere in Germany. I am not to fussed if we get this though really don’t want to move again (I love my house).
Number 2 seems most likely at the moment so Arghhh a bit stressful.

Hmm... I wouldn't mind No. 2, but thats just me. Otherwise, I agree, your house looks so nice! Eek, the part about you being worried about those boys with Chains and things, I was on my way home the other day, and saw a gang of 10 walking towards my car, turns out they were going across the street to get to the other side. I looked in the back pocket of one of them, and had a gun hanging out. I was a bit frazzeled myself.
Otherwise, happy to hear things are well, I am hoping to hell I can find a cheap cheap flight even for a week to see yea'll.
Loves yea and hope to see you soon!
Haha! Just read your comment. Oh I know, three is a lot. At least Ethan will be in school by then and it won't be that much. Its funny, my little cousin Andrew is starting pre-school as well today and my Auntie is soo nervous. Either way, its a good way to start interacting and to learn new things. I am happy for Ethan and for you all.
P.S. Me and Laura went to Drumheller way before anyone else thought of it. It was our initial plan and we had a lot of fun!
Hey Sam, it's Shona. Loving the updates, don't get much time on the computer will college, work and coaching, but the blog is great for keeping up-to-date.
So Ethan is starting school! Must be exciting, bet you'll miss him when the house is quieter. Is he going to an army run class, or off to a german Kita? haha. Anyway, Imma go now, but keep in touch missus!
Take care, hope we can talk soon and say hello to everyone from the 'Welsh's',
Shona x
