December 2011 part 1

So almost caught up to today WAHOO!!!!! December was eventful!!!! we got a tiny bit of snow which seemed to last a week before going again, such weird weather right now. We enjoyed alot of outside time playing in both snow and no snow and walks at lions park

The boys had a school puts a production on with an Alberta wide productions company and a few kids from the school are chosen to be part of a play. Last year Ethan was chosen and was a seagull in a pirate play this year BOTH Ethan and Caleb were chosen as knights in Gullivars travels!!! Yes very proud mommy moment.

A few Christmas doo's and kids parties were enjoyed....

My dear friend Colleen got posted to Ireland, so seen her off in style.

The boys did another play, this one for school.

and Mason turned 3!!!! Yup my little boy turned 3 and in complete style. We had a little tea party here with 2 friends as we had a Edmonton one planned and well little man couldn't hold his emotions he cried HAPPY tears!!!!!

We had an amazing night trip to Tilly to see Santa's train WOW really is amazing, we climbed onto a horse drawn carriage and drank hot chocolate well singing carols, then were greeted by the most amazing train ever and to top it off loads of smoke can from a carriage and lowered into a rocking santa concert well Santa himself came into the crowd and gave candy canes!!!!!! sounds to good to be true doesn't it, I can assure you was not a dream look....

Then it was off to Edmonton on our amazing little family trip! We saw a bauld egal but I had no Camera he was sat eating a dead deer as we drove by and I felt it was like my dad was saying hello and merry Christmas (they were his favorite animal and are not found here really). So was a great start to our trip. We spent a day in west Edmonton mall, Drew took the older two to the movies and Mason and I had a birthday special.... We used money from Noonoo and Great Gran to go mad in the disney store, Mason got himself a lifesized Lotso and a bullseye teddy along with a Ham piggy bank (yes my son is Toy story MAD). We went to the underground sealife cavren where we got to pet sting rays and sea erchens before watching a sea lion show! Finishing with Icecream before meeting the others we had a fab time.

The next day was Mason's party, yes he was VERY spoilt. We picked my mom up and brought her to a soft play area where we met up with some of my old friends who have now had kids of their own, was a fab day really and all the kids had fun specially Mason who was go go go...

After the party we headed to my sisters house to drop my mom off and meet my new nephew for the first time.

So yes an eventfulday and it wasn't over we still had to go to the Bright night house to see, this house is amazing and they raise money for charity so why not go help such a brilliant thing right.

That was that our trip in Edmonton was over, Ok so we made a stop to see my amazing princess Maddie first (and build up our Christmas gift for her)...
