Queen's Jubilee
The Queen celebrates 60 years as Monarch on Monday, and so the school decided to throw a Jubliee party to celebrate. I took Mason and as we turned the corner toward school you could see 3 large bouncy castles, Police, Fire and Army all there to show the kids little bits of what they do. We enjoyed some cakes and met up with Ethan and Caleb for some facepainting and to enjoy the fun. The boys all loved it as did I, what a perfect way to celebrate specially being in Canada away from al the fun Uk is having. It was so nice to see all the moms and teachers come together with the kids and enjoy, gave alot of community spirit which I thought was gone.

Sami, we have a "queens"day every year, and then the queen and her family visit 2 places in holland. look at "konninginnedag 2012" on you tube. I like the idea of a queen. it does give a country a "special". Even though they often are just symbolic and they have no official say in politics. Glad you all had a great day!!, Aunt Jeanette
