I have always wanted to do this and have done first aid and all needed to become a childminder but never put any of it to work, so I talked with my friend Vickie who just got a job and tested myself with Serena her 1.5 year old. I knew serena wouldn't be to much as Vickie and I both fell pregnant in Bordon, Uk and then both had our bumps bloom to babies in Herford, Germany and now are getting ready to watch them same bumps turn 2! Yes we have a very special bond and it's VERY uncomon in the army life to be so lucky to get posted with someone you admire so much let alone have 3 postings in a row with them. anyways back to point I tested myself with having 1 extra bean around the house and LOVE it! I am ready and wanting at least 2 more!
Apart from childminding we had a SNOW DAY! Yup I am offically home. After hockey on Monday we all went to the pub for some drinks it was lovely outside I wore just a cardigan BUT 3AM all changed and drasticly, the winds blew in along with a blizzard that put us ankle deep in snow. The snow never gave up and only today (which is Friday) has it finally stopped snowing). So yes I went outside to shovel and get ready for the kiddies trek to school to be greeted by my neighbor Bob who nicely let me know school was cancelled due to the weather! Next thing you know my computer and phone go out, then Radio followed by Tv! Ahhhhh 3 kids and no easy entertainment. Yes had to do some family time which I LOVED! We got dressed up and ready and headed to my friend Brandon's house, she has 3 boys around the same age so is great! We had snowball fights and played outside for oh umm a whole 10 minutes before coming back inside numb from the cold. Hot chocolates and crafts were next in line followed by some Wii and bored games and finally playing imaginext (best toys EVER). So yes a proper offical Snow day!
hockey has been going alot better too, we had another hockey tournie last weekend and though my team never did so well Andy's got 2nd place so am so proud. We played from 7AM-5Pm and then came home to get ready for a Devils after party 6pm-2am! This was great really enjoyed spending time with just me and Andy. We had a lovely curry, danced and drank. I won a raffle for a night away in Medicine hat lodge executive suite so am looking forward to that too. Since then I have steped up my game in hockey a bit and am really really pushing myself. I got man of the match in last nights game against the men and took out the biggest best player on the other team (oops.) I must admit I loved the attention of hearing the other team say watch out Binladin is coming to get you (my hockey name is Osama). I was a real threat to them and kept taking there players out (and getting away with it). I loved it!!!!!!
So yes been rather busy but completely happy

Love all the snow shots, the first few weeks are so much fun... then it all goes wrong LOL!!
