quickly dissapearing weekends

Andy and I were talking last night and cannot beleive we have been in Canada 6 months now! Time has gone so so fast, though we are both missing his family so so much it's been a great adventure and a amazing chance to build a better relationship with mine. I really feel my sister and I have finally connected. We have never had a falling out but are both such differant people and living in such differant worlds so it's been hard. I am so pleased life has taken me on this path as now I think we have a strong bond and when we move to Uk again we will be closer then before. So onto the weekend instead of pointless ramblings....

Andy and I went on a date night Friday which was going to be a Tigers game (medicine hat hockey team) but the person I went to buy tickets off wasn't home so we missed out. I was upset as it ment we missed plan A and B (plan A being go to the pictures) so was in a bit of a huff but Andy suggested we just have a nice meal and then do some kid free shopping! We enjoyed a meal at Tony Roma's then yes went to Superstore which is not over romantic but was super nice to actually do food shopping without 3 kids wanting everything.

Saturday we awoke to be onece again knee high in snow! after shovelling we kitted the boys out in their snow gear and headed to the sledding hill, it was a long walk as everything was untouched but we made it and had loads of fun.

Mason and Caleb fell asleep as soon as we got home so Ethan painted his bird house while drew and I cooked dinner, it turned out really good.

Sunday we had a indoor day, Caleb painted his bird house and the boys just played in the basement until Movie time (we watched Snow day). Mason was being mega naughty though and went to bed early when he crossed the line by chucking Ethan's DSIxl in the tolite!!!! Thankfully it's working again.
