Vancouver / Day 4

Ok I am joining in with about amillion others when I talk about this but last nights riots were unbelievable! It happened almost imidiatly after the game as we watched Boston recieve the cup then the new click over to a van being over turned and set ablaze, Seriously only like a minute after the cup was given. Yes I am a hockey fan and must admit I was cheering for Boston due to the fact even though they are an American team they had more Canadians then Vancouver did. But I was quick to be embarassed to be Canadian at all (may stick to the joke going round that Im a Russian spy). There were stabbings, looting, numberous cars wrecked and set on fire, loads of people hurt some in critical condition. now I send my pity to the police who we will see being blamned for not containing this (in fair play no police would of been enough). This is just uneceptable and I as a Canadian am so ashamed...

SAMi's JOURNEY TIME

Alright Day 4!!!! I will start with smoking, I was doing so well then Drew came home and declared he has NOT stopped and then went out for a smoke. We had a few glasses of wine and I came closer then ever to smoking. I went out to join him (we only smoke outside when kids are asleep, as don't think they should be subjected to it) Anyways was outside sat on the pourch and he lit his smoke and was about to pass it over when I thought what the hell am I doing. I WENT BACK INSIDE!!!!! Yup no ciggie touched these lips. Felt so proud though each time he went out it was VERY hard.

Day 4 diet I am upset to say I failed on :( I ate 400 Calories over due to Drew ordering Pizza and wings (and me tihnking I've been so good a little cheating would be ok *IT'S NOT*). Yes am dissapointed with myself.

Workout Day 4 well I can stand proud in the fact I did it!!!! No pain it was a great work out still feeling the push of having to do this but I have done it!!!!!

I've read that the best way to diet is to allow yourseld one 'cheat' day every week. And actually, I have a pair of friends who went on a very rigid diet - no sweets etc, not calorie counting but eliminating a lot of kinds of foods completely - but they declared sunday Free Day and eat whatever they want. They both had been and continued to exercise quite faithfully but on their new diet with its Free Day they both look AMAZING. It's easier to get past daily temptations when you can say 'well I'll just have it on Sunday', and then on Sunday you really just wind up having whatever it is you are craving that particular day!

Defo agree with having a cheat day and being embarrassed as a Canadian by what happened in Van.
